New Activity Bus Rolls In

Wright City's New Activity Bus rolled in Wednesday afternoon.  Coach Dickerson and Mr. Hawkins traveled to  Tulsa to pick up the bus. The bus is wrapped in a 3m vinyl wrap that is very durable.  The design was created on a computer first. State Champion LumberJax Hold Court

The JAX were invited to the State Capital by Representative Johnny Tadlock to be  recognized on the House Floor,  tuesday Aoril 17.  The JAX left Monday evening around 7:30 pm after the baseball team finished their game in Idabel.  They arrived at the hotel in OKC around midnight. The team needed to be at the State Capital before 9:00 am to be taken to the house floor. The JAX waited in the House . . .

FCCLA Visits State Capital

The Wright City FACS Class with instructor Becky Luna visited the Capital during the teacher walkout. Students were attending the yearly FCCLA State Convention the next day, so had time to let students  experience what was happening at the Capital. They also were able to visit with Representative Johnny Tadlock. Mr. Tadlock took students down to the house floor and described a typical day on the house . . .

The LumberJax finish the season on a 21 game winning streak, Ranked #1, 30-2 record, and STATE CHAMPIONS. It was a intense journey from start to finish. But the accomplishment of winning the first state championship for  Wright City Schools and the Wright City Community was joyous and emotional Saturday night inside the Big House.
